Christine & Chris Share the Moment with Friends

With much class and a touch of Tahiti, friends and relatives of Chris & Christine (Becker) Reynolds helped make their wedding reception special at the Rockford Country Club ( on July 7. Cocktails featured a combination of our instrumental piano love ballads & string romantic favorites. After being introduced to “Chariots of Fire” their guests were treated to a wonderful spread with a Polynesian focus at various food stations while we played vocal love ballads mixed in with many our tropical favorites ( We supplied the background music for their slide show including; 2 versions of “Brown Eye Girl” with Van Morrison & Jimmy Buffett, “Bad to the Bone” and “You’re in My Heart.” They choose “How Sweet It Is” by Michael Bubble for cake time & “Grow Old with Me” by Mary Chapin Carpenter for their 1st dance as newlyweds. Great participation on the dance floor to a variety of sets including; disco, romantic and 50’s jitterbug. With over 20 children in attendance we played Simon Says & Coke/Pepsi. Oh, yes it always pays off to plan to arrive early, because on the way I was stopped in a traffic jam going west on I-90 due to an accident. Even though I was at a stand still for nearly an hour, I was able to set up & start the cocktail music on time.
