Christmas Party Fun with Vonco

I had a blast with the fine folks at Vonco ( on December 13 for their employee Christmas Party at Maravela’s ( Vonco is a company where the management really cares for their employees. I enjoyed playing holiday favorites during both the cocktail and dinner periods. A wonderful buffet was provided. Vonco President, Keith Smith, addressed his employees on the state of the company and then recognized many individuals with awards for their years of service and special contributions and efforts making Vonco successful. Raffle time was especially exciting with many great prizes to choose from. I put on in the background many famous instrumental sound themes to accentuate the moment including the Jeopardy Theme, Rocky Theme, Patton Theme and the Theme from Coach. The rest of the evening was filled with spirited dancing to a variety of types of music including; Classic Rock, Disco, Current Top 40, Country, Oldies, Motown and Romantic Ballads. This group was especially active on the dance floor for group line dances. Latin Tunes also played a big role during the dancing for many enjoyed the sounds of Cumbia, Bachata and Bandas. I enjoyed taking requests. A great dance crowd and fun by all. I knew this was going to be a fun group when I asked Keith Smith if he preferred to have me wear my Elf outfit or my pinstripe suit and he said, “Let’s go fun with the Elf outfit.” Thanks Vonco for having us as your entertainment and have a great upcoming year.
