Congratulations Josh & Erin

I had a wonderful time with Josh & Erin Hancock on October 31 at the Arboretum Club ( for both their wedding ceremony & reception. Their relatives and friends danced up a storm on the dance floor in celebration on Halloween Night. This was one where Josh & Erin picked out the key songs including the ceremony selections and gave me direction as far as genres of music but they did not by choice supply us with an extensive playlist. Instead they allowed me to draw from our extensive library of tunes as I saw fit and mixed in guest requests. The result was total fun for everyone. Team work and preparation at its best. As far as specifics, they choose from our instrumental “Movie Theme” collection for both cocktails in the hallway and for dinner in the main banquet room. They cut their cake to U2’s “Sweetest Thing” and their 1st dance was Pearl Jam’s “Future Days.” The bridal party came into “Thriller” and Erin danced with her mother during open dancing to “Dancing Queen” which led to a great Disco Set. Incorporated a great Anniversary dance with all married couples participating. We had done Erin’s sister and bother in-law form Peoria, Rich & Lauren Brecklin’s reception six years ago, and decided to but on “I Wish I Was In Peoria.” For Halloween they had an amazing Sweet’s Table and I played on Sammy Davis’ “The Candy Man” when announcing it’s opening. Played some of the classic Halloween tunes for about 15 minuets transition between the end of dinner and the start of dancing. Enjoyed working with PhotoGraphy ( It was great to see again Erin’s folks, Russ and Karen Dempsey six years later. Check out all the action and smiles on the photos and videos. Thanks again for having me. Best wishes to Josh & Erin.
