Fun Time at Long Grove Tent Reception

It is always special to MC & provide the music for an outdoor ceremony & tent reception. On October 5 in Long Grove, Mike & Amy (Hendricks) Necas celebrated with their relatives and friends under a tent. It was a great group of guests who enjoyed themselves. Every wedding has it’s most memorable moments and this one included an intense rain & wind storm at the exact time of the introductions. The tent held up wonderfully with the assistance of some guests holding down the exterior tent flaps during the storm. We started the dinner buffet with Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Who’ll Stop The Rain.” Speaking of customization, Mike & Amy made they’re wedding special & unique by choosing their own individual favorite music selections for their ceremony, dinner & dance. Hey, the food catered by Smoke Daddy (www.thesmokedaddy.com) was fantastic, the main course was Barbecue Ribs, and it was fantastic, the 1st wedding in 24 plus years in which I have experienced that treat. Instead of cutting a cake, they cut a pie. A wide variety of dance music kept the floor moving including; Current Top 40, Oldies, Romantic, guest requests & a great set of Millennium Techno. We ended the night with; “Bear Down Chicago Bears” followed by “The Supper Bowl Shuffle.” It was a great time by all. Thank you Mike & Amy for having me at you’re wedding.
