Jitterbug Sunday Night with Rich & Niki

It was a blast to be with Rich & Niki on they’re wedding September 22 at the Highland Park Country Club. We provided the music for both the ceremony & reception. Miked up the minister with a lavalier mic & had our cordless mic for the bride & groom. A 50’s theme ran throughout the celebration beginning with the Recessional song “Then He Kissed Me” by the Crystals and continued into the introductions with Chuck Berry’s Johnny B. Good for the bridal party & the Drifter’s “This Magic Moment” for the bride & groom introduction. Rich & Niki choose our Jitterbug Collection (www.windycityhitman.com/783/50s-jitterbug) for dinner. Even before dinner was completed, guests were on the floor dancing to the upbeat 50’s tunes. Cake was cut to “Wishin’ & Hopin'” by Dusty Springfield. While we went back to the Jitterbug theme occasionally during dance time including the “Stroll,” we did play a great variety of songs Rich, Niki picked out along with playing guest requests. Great to work with the fine folks at Jolie Images again (www.JolieImages.com). It was a bunch of fun. Best wishes to Rich & Niki.
