New Orlean’s Style with Lauren & Dan

A taste of Bourban Steet on September 24th at the Pheasant Run Resort ( in St. Charles for the Dan & Lauren (Quiles) Deaton reception. They had a beautiful fall ceremony outside then moved into the the resort’s most realistic & fantastic “The Bourban Street” cocktail area then dinner & dance in the grand ballroom. Of course we played from our great New Orleans/Jazz/Cajun collection for both cocktails & dinner. With the purple up-lighting as a topper you really felt that you were in the “Big Easy.” We projected the video presentations of each of the father/daughter & mother son dances. A wonderful moment was when Lauren danced with her Grand Father, a WWII veteran. The dance floor was packed all night long without a break in the action. Some of the diverse dance selections included; “Everything” Michael Buble, “Sweet Caroline”, “Let’s Get it Started”, “Cha-Cha Slide”, (Clean Version of) “Teach me how to dougie”, a great Motown set, Disco set, Current sets and the Twist along with some guests requests. The pictures tell the story, fast or slow the floor was filled. Both sets of parents were great to work with also.
