Packed Dance Floor All Night Long

The one thing you notice when looking at the photos of Nick & Alison (Heinz) Strom’s reception on July 14th at the classic Park Ridge Country Club ( is that the dance floor was constantly filled throughout the entire evening. What an amazing celebration. As one out of town guest put it; “the perfect balance of Current Top 40 with the classic wedding songs along with the grouping of the music by sets to keep the momentum” made this for him “the best reception he had been to.” Great sets of dancing included; Current Top 40, Oldies, Disco, 50’s Jitterbug, 90’s Dance, 80’s Rock and Romantic Tunes. A big momentum moment was the creative Father & Daughter Dance (see photos). We played a medley of songs for this starting with; “Father & Daughter” by Paul Simon which led into short versions of “The Twist”, “Macarena”, and “Staying Alive.” “We are Family” followed as a transition song leading the bridal party into “The Cupid Shuffle.” Everybody, with great enthusiasm, joined on the dance floor to “Levels” by Avicii. Form then on till the end of the night it was packed dance floor city. Our 4 Keys to Keeping The Dance Floor Packed worked like a charm. What fun!
