Partick, Natalie & Cupid

Patrick & Natalie (Westling) Baldwin started it all off with Sam Cooke’s “Cupid” for their 1st dance and the reception floor was never empty thereafter. Great sets of Oldies, Romantic, Country, Motown & Current Top 40. Their outdoor wedding ceremony as well, was held on September 1 at the Silver Lake Country Club ( in Orland Park. They choose their own cocktail & dinner music. During dinner many tables rose to their feet to sing a song to the bride & groom with the word “Love” in it to get them to kiss instead of the clanking of the glasses. Highlights included the Anniversary Dance where Natalie’s grandparents, Joan & Bob Mitchell were recognized and honored for 65 years of marriage. Fun introductions with “Jump in the Line” by Harry Belafonte for the bridal party & “Can’t Get Enough of Your Love” by Barry White for the newlyweds. With a large contingency representing the state of Texas we played a Lone Star State Medley; “The Yellow Rose of Texas,” “All My Ex’s Live in Texas,” “Luckenbach, Texas,” and “Waltz Across Texas.” Check out the photo of the great group participation to “Hava Nagilah.” It was great to see again Paul & Amanda Zafiropouls. Thanks to them for recommending us, we did their wedding back in July of 2007. Nice to work with TharaPhoto ( In a line we used for Patrick & Natalie’s introduction; “They are the most recently wed couple in this room!!!” Congratulations.
