Relaxed, Casual, Non-Traditional Reception in Downtown Peoria

Made the trip to central Illinois to celebrate with Dave & Jill (Hayes) Templin at the Cornerstone Building ( in Downtown Peoria Illinois. A historic Presbyterian Church converted into a unique banquet hall. It was planned out to be a causual, informal and relaxed celebration with no ties allowed, no assigned seating, no traditional formal introductions, no weddinding cake, no bouqet or garter throws and no sit down platted meal. With great food at numerous food stations we progressed from Rat Pack/Cool & Swing Collections to Motown & Oldies to Dance Time. A fun crowd which danced to a wide variety of tunes till nights end. Some of the big hits included a Chicago Medley of “Sweet Home Chicago”, “Go Cubs Go” & “Chelsea Dagger” (Blackhawks Theme). Smiles & fun shared by all. All ages danced; young & old alike. When I mentioned to Dave’s little nice that I did not know that she was such a dancer, she said that she did not know it herself, she surprised even herself. It was a pleasure to have teamed up with Angie Pedulla from Pedulla’s On the Go Catering of Pepper’s Cafe ( to make the reception a total success. Best wishes to Dave & Jill.
